Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs inside your browser — your file is read from your device, processed in memory, and never sent to a server.

What image formats are supported?

JPG and PNG are embedded directly. WebP, HEIC/HEIF and AVIF are converted automatically in your browser first — nothing extra to install.

Will my images be recompressed?

JPGs and PNGs are embedded as-is, byte for byte, so there's no quality loss. Other formats are re-encoded once (losslessly, to PNG) so they can live in a PDF.

How big are “Match image” pages?

Each page is sized at one PDF point per pixel, so a 4000-pixel photo makes a physically large page. That's ideal for screens (no borders, full resolution) — pick A4 or Letter if the PDF is headed to a printer.
