About Resize Image

Resizing changes an image's pixel dimensions — for example scaling a 4000×3000 photo down to 1200×900 for a blog, an avatar, or a listing that requires exact dimensions. Smaller dimensions also mean smaller files, so resizing is often the quickest way to make an image fit both a layout and an upload limit.

How to use Resize Image

1
Add your images
Drop in one or more images in any common format.
2
Enter the target size
Type a width or height in pixels. The aspect ratio stays locked by default so nothing looks stretched.
3
Resize and download
Preview the result and download — individually or all at once.

Frequently asked questions

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Images are processed by your browser's own canvas engine, entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded, stored or seen by anyone else.
Will resizing distort my image?
Not with the aspect-ratio lock on (the default) — the other dimension is calculated automatically. Unlock it only if you deliberately want to stretch.
Can I make an image bigger?
Yes, but upscaling can't invent detail — a small image enlarged a lot will look soft. Downscaling always looks crisp.
