About Flatten PDF
A filled-in form is only as final as its fields: anyone with a PDF viewer can click into a text box and quietly change the amount, the date, or the name. Flattening converts those interactive fields into ordinary, fixed page content — the values stay exactly where they are, but there's nothing left to click, tab into, or edit. It's the standard last step before archiving a completed form or sending it somewhere it shouldn't be altered.
