How do I turn photos into a PDF on my phone?
Open Photo to PDF on Tools-Bench in your phone's browser and tap the box to take a picture of each page or pick photos from your library. A4 is preselected, so every page matches; reorder with the arrows and convert. The PDF is built on the phone itself, so photos of IDs or payslips are never uploaded.
About Photo to PDF
When a form, a receipt or a signed letter has to go somewhere as a PDF and there's no scanner nearby, your phone's camera will do. Open this page on the phone, tap the box to take a picture of each page or pick photos you've already taken, and get them back as one PDF in the order you choose — on A4 pages, so a portal or a printer treats it like any scanned document. Photos taken sideways are turned upright, and JPG photos go in without being compressed again. Because everything happens in the browser, photos of IDs, payslips and bank letters never leave the phone.
How to use Photo to PDF
1
Take or choose the photos
On a phone, tap the box above: most phones offer the camera as well as the photo library. Shoot from straight above, in good light, with the page filling the frame.
2
Check the page size and order
A4 is preselected, so every page comes out the same size; switch to Letter for North America. Use the arrows if a page is out of place, and add more photos at any time.
3
Convert and save the PDF
Download the PDF to your phone and attach, upload or share it from there.
Frequently asked questions
Does it straighten or crop the photo like a scanner app?
No. Each photo goes in as you took it, without perspective correction, cropping or a contrast boost. For a clean result, hold the phone level above the page in even light. A photo with a lot of background can be trimmed with Crop Image first.
Why is the PDF so big?
Phone photos are large — often 2–5 MB each — and they go into the PDF at full quality, so a ten-page document can easily pass 20 MB. If an upload limit turns it down, run the PDF through Compress PDF, which usually shrinks photo pages a great deal.
Can I use photos that are already on my phone?
Yes, pick them from your photo library. iPhone photos work too: iOS usually hands the page a JPG copy, and real HEIC files are decoded in the browser.
